
Tyler Douglas
As Chairman of the Board of Elevate Charities, Mr. Douglas oversees all the administration, programs and strategic plan of the charity. He has been in this position for 4 years. Mr. Douglas has overseen the Emergency Fund for the past 14 years. During that time he has successfully raised and distributed over $11 Million to employees of Ensign affiliated operations who were in financial need. He is currently the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Ensign Services. Mr. Douglas received his Eagle Scout as a young man and has served as an Assistant Scout Master and Boy Scout Venture Leader as an adult. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University.

Dennielle de Heras
As Executive Director for Elevate Charities, Mrs. de Heras runs the day-to-day operations of Elevate Charities. She has been in this position for 7 years. Mrs. de Heras has an entrepreneurial spirit and comes to Elevate Charities with proven experience of developing a startup organization into profitable businesses. In the time she has been with the charity, she has successfully organized and run several golf tournaments along with numerous other fundraising events, with increasing donations year after year. She has previously donated her time assisting a national youth football and cheer program being team manager and assistant coaching.

Cory Monette
As a Director of Elevate Charities, Mr. Monette assists with fundraising events. He has been in this position for 4 years. He has been with Ensign Services for 21 years serving in many different roles, but is currently a Market Leader providing support for facilities in California. He has served on previous school and church boards and has a BBA in management. Mr. Monette is currently serving as a school board director and counseling resource for his church.

Tina C. Ricketts
As a Director of Elevate Charities, Ms. Ricketts assists with fundraising events. She has been in this position for 3 years. Tina currently serves as a Chief of Staff with The Pennant Group. Prior to her Chief of Staff role, she served as a Human Resource Leader for the Pennant Group’s home health, hospice, and home care business lines. Since 2006 Ms. Ricketts has held various HR positions in multiple industries and holds an MBA from National University.

Steve Borgquist
As a Director of Elevate Charities, Steve Borgquist has spent the last 20 years as a Healthcare Executive Leader working in various leadership positions in Senior Living, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Group Purchasing. Steve is currently the President, CEO and Co-Founder of Beacon Purchasing LLC, an Ensign affiliated company. Prior to forming Beacon Purchasing, Steve served as Managing Director of Operations at Aramark - Group Purchasing.

Deborah M. Miller, RN, JD
Debbie has worked in the health care industry for more than 40 years. She worked as an RN for many years in various settings in TX prior to obtaining her JD in 2000 from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She continues to maintain her professional nursing licenses in Washington State. She was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2002. Since completing law school, she has served as a Compliance Officer within the Providence Health System in Washington State, as the Ohio Regional Compliance Officer for Kaiser Permanente, as the VP of Compliance for RehabCare and currently as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer for Ensign Services, Inc. Ensign Services, Inc. provides all support services, including compliance, for all affiliated entities of The Ensign Group.
During this time, she has participated in and led the development of several compliance programs. She joined Ensign in December 2012 and quickly developed a robust compliance team and program that led Ensign through their 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement.
Debbie grew up in Texas and attended undergraduate and nursing school in San Antonio. She and her wife have lived in CA for 11 years. They enjoy travel, games, gardening, and visiting and playing with their children and grandchildren.

Carissa Perez-Podesta
Carissa Perez-Podesta is Deputy General Counsel with Ensign Services, Inc. Ms. Perez-Podesta received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the U.C. Davis. She received her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University. After law school, Ms. Perez-Podesta practiced employment litigation in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. Ms. Perez-Podesta joined Ensign Services in 2006, and served in the positions of Associate General Counsel, Compliance Officer and VP of Human Resources prior to her current role.
